Dr. Cheryl Seals has been on the faculty of Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) at Auburn University since 2003 as an assistant and now associate professor of computer science. She has taught and developed six courses during her tenure and dozens of software systems through iterative development and participatory design related to her background in Human Computer Interaction and Usability Evaluation. Dr. Seals has been involved in over a dozen studies of novice programmer computer communities through human computer interaction. She is practiced in methods needed to evaluate and illicit participatory feedback from novice audiences.
