Diego Aguirre is a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science program at UTEP. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from UTEP. His research interests include Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Robotics. He has worked with Lockheed Martin, UT Austin, and Cyber-ShARE. Diego has also served as an instructor at UTEP and given talks in conferences such as SACNAS and CAHSI, where he has been able to communicate his research and serve as a mentor to other Hispanic students with similar backgrounds.
